I agree that the XDA-2 would be a great deal at $219.00.I was going to buy one but the it says reserve.I was going to reserve one but it wont let me.I saw that KeithL said the XDA-2 Gen 2 page was going to be up soon.Anyone know what the price on that will be?I am just trying to better my 2 channel sound quality. My max would be $250.00.I do not stream any music so USB would not be used. Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I also like the XDA-2 very much, check the emporium or eBay they've generally been going for less than $200.

Thanks, but unfortunately the Dragonfly is USB only and unless you are going to sell me you're DC-1 for $250.00 does not meet my budget That's true. Unfortunately, the XDA-2 which is in the price range isn't quite what I would go for. But I'm kind of picky! I love my DC-1 though! There are schiit DAC's too that are supposed to be nice - but no volume control. Curious about this since you were a huge fan of the XDA-1. What makes it worse than the XDA-1? Is it the opamps? Yulong Audio make some nice affordable DACs but good luck finding a used one for sale...Owners of these fine DACs rarely put them up for sale....

You're welcome! It seems like today was your lucky day!I rarely see those for sale used. That one is one generation newer than mine but the one I have has a very very analog sound.

The XDA 2 would have better USB support than th a the XDA 1. Sonically they are super close, at least to my ears anyway.

Read a few reviews on the Peachtree DAC It x.
I love the voicing.
