Odd Couple is brilliant and I've cried with laughter watching the original Out-of-Towners.

The are many funny movies I have seen, but older age prevents me from recollecting them all.
I very much enjoyed the French Une elephant ca trompe énormement (US remake, The lady in Red, was much less subtle) and the sequel Nous irons tous au paradis.
I think Office Hours is hilarious.
Honourable mention: all of the Monty Python and Marx Brothers movies.

Nobody thought this one was funny??,,,,Really? Saw it in the theater and my over all answer is, nope. Really. Never had any desire to watch it again. Not a huge fan of his. Best movie I saw of his, which he isn't really in, but only narrates, is Simon Birch. There is one scene in that movie that is over the top funny. But the rest is more of a serious tone.

Space Balls was pretty funny too. I'm a Mel Brooks fan. His later stuff like High Anxiety was IMO a bust. From Wikipedia: Three of his films ranked in the American Film Institute's list of the top 100 comedy films of all-time, all of which ranked in the top 20 of the list: Blazing Saddles at number 6, The Producers at number 11, and Young Frankenstein at number 13."Its good to be the King!" Love History of the World and Robin Hood Men In Tights.

I could not pick a funniest movie if I tried. The list is too long for me. Jerry Lewis or Three Stooges or Monty Python, the list goes on. Robin Williams and Bob Hope and Jerry Lewis were greats but the funniest thing I every saw was Tim Conway doing Yule Gibbons pine nuts take on Carol Burnett Show. Mel Brooks did some very funny stuff. Like I say it boggles my mind when I try to pend down the funniest movie or show. I miss Johnny Carson show and Laugh In. Tell the truth I think the funniest stuff came before my time. I love to watch Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin movies. Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder movies " That's right were bad". All I can say is go find them, you have not seen your funniest movie yet !
