Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing on Emo team, I think they all work very hard this past weeks, my criticism is constructive and I think that it's necessary to ameliorate their services who is not perfect.

Actually, Emotiva Customer Service should have gone about the Dirac distribution differently by waiting until they had the Dirac kits ready to ship to the end users before contacting the customer via e-mail. Also, Emotiva should ship all the kits out to those customers with XMC-1's that were on the pre-order list according to the customers purchase date first before it was available in the shopping cart for general sale. Maybe they chould have sent something like this: Dear Customer, Congratulations! Your Dirac Room Correction software and mic kit is now ready for shipping to your address! Your items are being shipped via FedEx and here is your tracking number and activation key. If you have any questions or concerns with your shipment, please feel free to contact Emotiva Customer Service. Again, thanks for your patience.
Emotiva AudioRemember, this is Christmas time and shipping anything at this time of year is not the greatest. Given the sheer volume of packages being shipped now, it is highly likely that the shipper may not even send a notice out so you have no idea when to expect a package at your door. This season, there have been increasing news reports of criminals cruising neighborhoods and stealing delivered FedEx, UPS & USPS packages from the doorsteps of homes. I've been checking my doorstep daily for my kit but since I can't trust that I will get any notice of a shipment from FedEx. Honestly, a heads up from Emotiva of an emminent shipment to it's customers would be a prudent thing to do to avoid any customer complications. I got my activation key a few days ago but still no notice from Emotiva (or FedEx) on when my kit will ship to me which I expected. Now, the XMC-1 is getting shipped out with Dirac/ mics to folks with a possible Christmas delivery date. As for us early adopters, some have already gotten the Dirac software up and running on theirs, some have activation keys but no software/ mics while some others are still left out in the cold and waiting with nothing. It seems like Emotiva is not very orderly with this Dirac distribution. I know that we are not supposed to be calling them but....................

I got my email with the key but I still don't have my DIRAC kit. Or email about the kit.

And I've had the XMC-1 for a while but haven't even set it up yet because I've just been waiting for DIRAC. It would have been quicker to just buy one off the site without worrying about the prebuy list.

Just thinking on how much I would have missed in learning about my XMC had I not got mine in early July. Not to mention how great it sounded without the software and now even better with it. Put the thing in the rack and play with it.

Just got my key. The email says "If you were an early adopter, they were shipped to you separately; if you haven’t received them already, they will be arriving shortly".
It means mine has already been shipped but I have not received any tracking number. Don't care about the tracking number as long as I receive it shortly as Emo says.

I sincerely hope you are right, but I pay both UPS and FedEx to provide tracking information for all shipments coming to me. It is possible they have not been delivered to the delivery company as yet, but not sure about that. Neither company has delivered a package to me that I did not know about in advance.
Received my XMC around Sept 21st, so still a while for me to wait. Have my fingers crossed but it is beginning to look like a New Years party for me.

Hang in there. My guess is that it is shipping today and you will be getting it soon. I'm pretty sure mine shipped the same day as I received my key +1 I am pretty sure that was the same process for me. I received the Dirac activation code and 3 working days later the mic kit showed up. I'm sure we all hoped for an XMC, Dirac mic, and activation code for (before) the holidays, but some of us may be left out in the cold. Let's remember what an amazing product and all the work that Emotiva poured into getting us what we have so far and the promises of more. Emotiva makes an amazing product and have wonderful people working there. They are more like a small mom and pop store than big chain Target. Everythign may not be cutting edge and tredny, but you know when you deal with them they have yor best interests first. Not everything is computer aided in their small (when compared to the big boys) shop. It may not always make sense to us the way they do things they way they do. But their caring and customer service is second to none and for that I am thankful. They are always as fair as they can be and treat us all as friends and family (literally). They are working countless hours during the holidays, away form their loved ones in hopes making our day a little brighter. For me, Emotiva seems to care more about the end result and the customers feelings that the bottom line. It doesn't appear I will have an XMC running Dirac for Christmas, and while that saddens me a bit, I'd like to publicly thank everyone at Emotiva for bringing me an XMC and working on fulfilling their promise to bring me Dirac. Thank you! Here is to what was an exciting 2014 and looking forward to what 2015 will bring!!!

Got my key code e-mail after work Friday. I set up my account with Dirac on Saturday. I have not received my mic kit yet or received an e-mail saying it was shipped, but reading through here, I would presume that an e-mail may not be forthcoming.
I'm hoping that I receive the mic within the next week or so.
I've been looking for a boom mic stand locally as mail ordering may take too long at this point. Best Buy had one for $20.99, but it's pretty much sold out in store near me. Guitar Center has one for $39.99. Anyone have an idea of where else to check on a local front?
