Just thought of something else as I'm about to pull the trigger. The UPA-700 is a 7 channel amp. Does this unit allow for different volume levels in each zone?? No. It is just an amp, so you'd need some sort of pre-amp to do that. |

Well you aren;t completely lost here. You can use a passive pre-amp like eemotiva's control freak or the schiit Sys to turn down the volume.

Thank you everyone for all your help. Looks like I'm heading towards the 3 mini amps because I like the volume control feature.
Now I just have to prepare for the look on the wife's face when they get delivered!!!
