I noticed today that when I turn my system on the center channel (speaker) pops, it happens once the amp turns on (trigger).
I never noticed this before and I am a little concerned, it is only the center channel doing this. I unplugged the trigger from the amp and turned the receiver on and then the amp to see if the receiver was causing the problem, but it was the same.

Did you remove the speaker wire from the center channel. Make sure that no wires are touching on either end. It shouldn't have anything to do with the trigger that I can think of so removing it will not solve anything.

I did remove the center channel speaker wire, of course it will not pop now that it is not connected. The only reason that I disconnected the trigger was because I wanted to manually turn the amp on to see if it still existed.

Kind of figured that was the real reason for unhooking the trigger, but just wanted to make sure. Have you tested the center channel with another channel of the amp or processor? If the problem is still present on a different channel of the amp and or processor then the speaker is most likely the problem. You could test this out if you have another receiver laying around. In other words if the problem follows the speaker then it is the culprit.

I highly doubt that it is the speaker, never had this issue before. I will try this tonight and see what happens as I do have anothe receiver sitting around.

OK, I switched the center channel with the right front and now the popping is coming from the right front. The speaker pops once when the amp turns on and then there is another faint pop once the amp kicks in.
I hope somebody can help me out here.

Took this issue a step further, I unplugged the center channel completely from the amp and connected the center channel directly to the Pre-Amp/Receiver. There is absolutely zero popping from any channel, please don't tell me my less than 30 day old Amp has an issue this soon

Call Lonnie and get his assistance... he designed these amps and knows them inside out and can steer you to find the exact reason this is happening. There are several possibilities, and direct two-way communication is the quickest way to solve this. ;D

Just placed a call to Lonnie, he is busy but will call me back. I went another step and changed out the RCA cable (Monster) to the center channel and the results are the same.
I am sure Emotiva will take care of me, I just hate to have to ship it back so soon, and on my dollar?

I just read the Shipping charges for repair or warranty, I guess EMOTIVA handles it as long as it is in the USA
