When building a Home Theater, the most important thing is to have timber matching speakers. That's what will provide a better experience. This combination is completely different, not a good idea.

Having the same brand timber matched speakers all around is the ideal, but not always possible. My experience has been that the mains and center channel definitely need to be timber matched. The surround speakers can be from a different manufacturer and work well.
I have three Thiel speakers up front, Mirage Omnipolars for surrounds, and an SVS sub. The sound blends and is fantastic.
Just my .02.

Look into Maggie MMG-W, wall mounted and not expensive.

Just my .02. I agree. For surrounds, I use a pair of Airmotiv 5 monitors, whereas my front mains are a big pair of floorstanding speakers. I have placed my Airmotivs a lot closer to my listening position than my front mains, and this works for me mostly because the Airmotivs are just great speakers and because my UMC-200 has the necessary features it takes to make it work, i.e. the speaker distances, speaker levels, manual PEQ, and Lonnie's secret mojo, are all making it work well enough for me to remain confident of the fact performance far exceeds the... err... let me think deep... oh yeah, I remember... budget!
