First I would like to say that I have been frustrated with Emotiva on how they handled the 5 year wait on the XMC-1, I was on there waiting list and moved on to something else, I have said some negative things about Emo on this very site, yes with a different user name,...... I decided to give them another chance and purchase the DC-1, and it was the best decision I've made in 25 years I've been involved in audio, and I have spent upwards of $50000, Its truly a clear window on all your sources, no added brightness or bass everything is just right with plenty of inner detail, all for $470 bucks!...I have it hooked straight to my Bryston 4B using it as a preamp and it sounds beautiful, they won me back, now what to buy next?...........WAY TO GO EMO!

Welcome back soundmaster to the fold. I think the Stealth DC-1 Dac is one of my best purchases too and like you have spent quite a bit of money trying to improve my setup over the years. I have mine in my system with a Job 225 amp doing the hard lifting.
