Hey all, first post on the forum. I have just made my first purchase of Emotiva gear, XMC-1 and XPA-5 for my 5.1 system. I have just recently discovered the brand, and I'm excited to hear these highly recommended products. I'm replacing a Denon 4802 avr, 13 yrs old, and will be placing this gear in a dedicated theater room. Hey, just saw your post. Congratulations! I too purchased my first Emo about a week before you. The UMC-200, thanks to my lovely wife. Hard to believe it has been almost 2 months now. And I do intend for it to be my FIRST Emotiva component! I have a serious hankering for an amp and the XSP-1 for stereo listening, which is a subject for another post. Welcome to the family. This is seriously the best people on an audio forum. ENJOY! Now I'm itchin' to post on that other subject... |

Just received my XMC-1 and XPR-5 last week and I can tell you, you are in for a treat. I replaced a Yamaha RXZ-11 and so far I am very pleased. The comunity also seems really great and I am happy to be part of the family also. |
