My guess would be indoor/outdoor passives given the heavy dutiness of the grills.

So they have the Airmotive Gen 2 style front baffle, minimum acoustic signature. Not an air motion tweeter, not horn, so cone or dome style. Front baffle (unlike the current Stealth and Airmotive ranges). No apparent outdoors capability. Downwards firing tweeter, suggesting a high mounting. Industrial strength grills. Keith's response hints at powered (not passive). Looking at the size relationship between the tweeter and the woofer, suggests around a 6" to 8" woofer. I know some sound engineers aren't fond of airmotion tweeters. A lot of sound mixing consoles force the speakers up higher than ear level, so a downwards firing tweeter would be useful. Would also be useful for high, wall mounted side or rear speakers in a HT set up. The front firing baffle suites both of those applications.
So I'm going for powered studio monitor and/or surround speaker.
Cheers Gary

No more hints after this from me, but the tweeter fires directly forward (not downward) - the pictures can be a little misleading there So they have the Airmotive Gen 2 style front baffle, minimum acoustic signature.
