It's not a connection issue. Rather a circuit issue or situation. Did you try connecting your XPA's to the same circuit?

I'm assuming you are referring to the High level connection to the T-5 ? I would connect one ate a time to an XPA-1 and see if there is a problem with one of the amps or subs. I have an XPA-3 and have a T-9 connected with no problems. I would use the center channel hook up on page 10 of the Rel manual to see if it works.

Thanks for the reply . Yes tried same circuit still same result Yes it it is the high level connection. They hum when they are not in use then once I put them into use they are find but think I am not getting the power that i should be getting . Great amps and great subs just have to gt them working together

Great amps and great subs just have to gt them working together Hey there, Nice system... congratulations! 1) The HI-LEVEL connection is only to catch the LOW HZ and not to amplifier the signal. The power that you think you must have is only in the T5, you need increase the volume according with your personal taste. 2) You must connect one cable (+/RED) to the XPA-1 F/L and the other cable to the (-/BLACK) XPA-1 F/R, don't forget the (Yellow) earth cable. See below: - I use this one, with no problems. For the best result possible, I recommend to you: 1) Put your LFE/LEVEL in 0; 2) Select a reference music sound track for BASS testing that you like; 3) Adjusting the BASS level according with your taste; 4) Now you can put the LFE/LEVEL again how you like; 5) They work together/simultaneous, you don't need touch them again, just for adjust something... rel.net/support/rel-connectivity/

You may find that the high level inputs tie the - inputs together for left and right. If this is the case then you can't use these inputs with the XPA-1s as they are differential output. You'll be shorting the inverting half of each amp to ground. Use the line level inputs instead and you'll be fine.

Thanks I was hoping to be able to use my t-5's as stereo right and left. I also have a strata 3 and the 2 t-5's So what I have done is used my strata 3 on the fronts 1 T-5 on Centre channel and 1 T-5 on rear surround. Not what I was trying to achieve but it works with out hum. My pre-amp is a XMC-1 which has 2 LFE outputs 1 is going to my strata 3 the other on i was thinking of running to the T-5 on the rears. Im still not giving up on the 2 T-5 on the fronts . So I'm open to any comments and suggestions. The connection on the post above worked Thanks and Keep the ideas coming

If you want stereo left and right front then just split your L/R outputs from the pre and run them to both the XPA-1s and the subs. That should do what you're looking for, I believe.

I suggest you call emotiva on this. At least if there is no way to properly hook up High level inputs they should know this, but I honestly think the engineering team can find a fix for you.

I gave up up on the mono blocks for now . I have a Sunfire 7channel amp that i was using for my for my surround speakers . I ended up putting my 2 T5's on there as stereo subs. They work fine have not spent much time setting them up just wanted to get something working for the game tonight. Im going to give the mono blocks a rest for a bit . The T5's i set up with red and yellow to positive and black to black same for for both channels and run my 2 LFE cables from my XMC-1 and set my subs to stereo in the settings. Still looking for info Thanks

Is there a reason why you can't run line level to the T5s, rather than trying to run a speaker level signal to them? That would get around this issue completely, and wouldn't force you to use different amps.
