Hello. I just got a pair of airmotiv 5s and I find the led distracting. For those of you that have taken apart your speakers... Is there an easy way to disable the led in a way that it could be changed back later?

Black electrical tape should work

Yeah - and a little bit of electrical tape won't void the warranty.

+1 if you use two, one on top of the other you can still just barely see the light.

Thanks guys. I am not a huge fan of electrical tape (i have used it before) because it ends up getting all sticky and nasty. I will, however, try those light dimmers before I take these things apart ~

Automotive window tint. Stop by any tint shop and ask for a scrap piece. Limo tint (5%) works great. Thinner tint may need to be doubled up. A hole punch makes a perfect round piece. Plus, the price can't be beat.
