Hi Emotiva Family, I was not sure where to put this thread, or if this topic has already been done, but I wanted to dedicate a thread to those of us who have actually met in person as a result of the Emotiva Lounge. Lets call it Emotiva Buddies for Life. If you are or have made a Emotiva Buddy for life then let us hear from you. My Emotiva Buddy for life is snacker. He's a great guy and a good friend. We hang out quite often, on the 8th we went to the Nascar race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I was over his place last night listening to his new Yaqin MS-30L tube amp. This is his second Yaqin MS-30L. It came with the stock tubes so we got a chance to hear what the amp sounded like stock. The one I brought and the other he previously brought both came with the upgraded Blue Glass Tubes. If you can you guys should post some pictures. I don't know how to do it so I have to wait for snacker. Thanks jmasterj, Feelings are mutual. I must say its fun having jmasterj around. Makes the hobby more enjoyable with someone who has an idea of what they are listening to, plus the knowledge to bias these things. Not to mention having a few beverages while listening. Maybe more a few at times. ; ) |

EXCITING!!! I don't know if I'll be able to travel but if it happens in BR, I will do everything I can to be there! BR = Baton Rouge or Boca Raton?   and I thought br was blue ray.... cheers |

As I rethink this I really don't want to exclude the Emotiva Buddies for life that haven't met yet but they are buddies for life. Maybe they gave you good advise on a purchase, or some help with a problem, I believe they should qualify for the Emotiva Buddies for life club. We don't want to be like that stuffy mono block club. yes you can have free membership in the stuffy mono block society too just see novisnick for details eh... cheers |

Bunch of elite snobs those members of the mono block club. That's why I sold the XPA-1's I used to have, just so that I would purposely not have anything to do with them!!! |
