How many of us out there have Tekton speakers? I am going to probably order the Seas Pendragons and probably an Enzo center channel speaker with the Seas drivers. I have emailed Eric to see if he is willing to do this. Anybody out there have Tekton speakers?

Legacy and Tekton get my vote. Have you heard Legacys before? I have always thought those are the best looking speakers I've ever seen...wish I could hear them...

I got a chance at Axpona Atlanta a few years back, and totally fell in love with the sound. Is that Yaqin MC-30L that good? to have two of them? i have Yaqin Tube buffer.

I'm a current owner of Legacy's Focus SE's, Silverscreen and the HD's and can attest to their sound. I LOVE 'em!

I owned M-Lores, Enzo towers, and the enzo center. Sold them all over the past winter and I'm using Chane speakers now. I think Tekton makes a nice sounding speaker but for theater only use I think the Chane's image better. This is an interesting observation. The Chane speakers are considerably less as well, yes? I owned a full 5.2 setup with Pendragons and it was by far the best sounding HT environment I have heard. I think all in all high efficient is simply the way to go when piecing together a HT room.

OK just wanted to post about a change in sound on my system. Now i don't know if its the Tekton speakers, firmware 3.0 on the XMC or not, I suppose part of the equation, but yesterday I watched Andrew's latest video about 5.1 setup and made a change to my speaker set up. Andrew had stated when going in and selecting speaker size when setting fronts for large, to then go set the crossover. I thought, that's not available and its not of course ( he must have meant the rest of the system ) Anyway, I tried the fronts set to large and sub to enhanced bass (I like a sub for 2 channel listening)then went back to my level adjustments. My reference volume, -30. was suddenly much louder than previously across the board for all speakers, so did the adjustment to 75db with my trusty Rat Shack meter. I always thought the term "sounds like a veil had been lifted" was a load of crock from people wanting to love their stuff...but let me tell you, something changed for the better and holy cow...the illusive veil is lifted, Ha! Cant believe how much improved this sounds. Just want to give another +1 to the mighty Tektons, these things sound friggin awesome. A shout out to the Emotiva team as well, the XMC is indeed a spectacular pre. I'll get around to Dirac soon enough and see what that does. Thats all, carry on and enjoy the music.

You know it just dawned on me my M-Lores are two years old this month. Yes I still feel the fire. I like them so much I plan to keep them. I would love to try a larger model say some Seas Pendragons. But truth be told these M-Lores play really good in the space. I really have no valid reason to upgrade. Great speakers!

See how the Illuminati pounce. This is a Tekton speaker thread yet they could not wait to introduce the possibility to purchase some more mono blocks. It' their whole mentality. It actually does becomes an obsession. We are discussing speakers here sir not XPA-1L mono blocks. Whatever are we going to do with them? Geez.

He said to tell you he's not ignoring you he's been beaver hunting. He'll get back to you shortly.

I have the seas pendragon and center .I'm still trying to get my ears to normalize to the sound . I had thiels for a long time so it's easy to say what I like or don't like about the dragons but I'm aware that it takes time to really "HEAR" what the speakers are playing instead of comparing the two speakers. That being said for HT the Pendragons are better. No not to my ears type better, they are just better for ht period . (Don't shoot me thiel owners). My room is 12×20×9.5 and maybe the thiels midrange was not big enough in the room for ht but for music they seemed adequate size . Now I heard the thiel cs6 and the linkwitz LX521 (more familiar with cs6 ) and the Pendragons seas make for a more exciting presentation then both thiels. My comparison on the lx521 will have to wait until I get another extended listen . I talked to the tekton guy Eric or Alex , something like that and he says the full size Pendragons are slightly more detailed than the seas version and may show it with music more than ht. I also heard the ert8.3 from emotiva and thought they were great for ht because they had a strong mid range that I think makes a good ht speaker. For music that same midrange is what I didn't like , to forceful in that range for me and didn't sound easy or fluid. Now so far the tekton to my ear have that almost the strength of the ert8s midrange but a tad less pronounced and still works well for ht but also makes it a better musical speaker to me.
