If you answer yes, please add a comment about your source(s) and what triggers it.

Yes. After a 30 second skip on my DirecTV DVR After menu navigation on Apple TV After menu navigation on Roku
I wrote to support@emotiva.com about this today, even though I've been experiencing the issue since firmware v2.
PS - I don't have this problem with my other equipment - just the XMC-1.

I get the clicking and popping between tracks and with audio format changes (PCM to DD etc.) with an Oppo 105. This happens on the Dirac preset and not when Preset 1 is used. Thanks to millst for starting this thread and poll.

It sometimes happens with my PS4 while in Netflix, plus my PC. Didn't had this problem with my old Pioneer. Also, somethings hear my sub making a stomp sound while everything is quiet. I think it has to do with the volume with the XMC-1.

No noises like that. I have used everything in my signature with the dirac preset and we use the Tivo every day. (recording FF/REW and skipping commercials daily) I would have heard from the family by now if something was up.

I do not have a XMC1 but had a external hard without its own power source. I use the J River and every once in a while would get the pop. I switched the hard drive to one that plugged in---no more pop. I do not know why

None for me using an Oppo 103. I did verify the DSD thump but with Dirac I no longer bitstream DSD anyway.

I don't get any of the above with any of the sources in my signature, only the DSD thump with an Oppo BDP-93, though no DSD thump with an Oppo BDP-83(which Oppo doesn't appear to know why).

No spurious noises here, and no thumping running the audio from my Oppo 103D in DSD mode. Just lucky, I guess. T-

I get pops and clicks while using my Roku, also the volume sometimes goes in and out on the Roku, but if I go to another HDMI port and then switch back it fixes the problem

Just to add, no DSD issues using my Pioneer player, but the Oppo DSD thump is real.

No issues here with the gear in my signature. Once in a blue moon I can hear my subwoofer protest with a slight thud, something it has done for the past 15 years so it's not the XMC-1 or Dirac. don't know why or what triggers it but it happens about once every 2-3 months and not too loud so I just ignore it.

I am getting pops and clicks from my speakers using my Panasonic DMP-BDT500 Blue-ray player on HDMI 1 and my Samsung UE46ES8000 TV on HDMI ARC. They happen during Blu-ray and DVD logo and menu changes, TV broadcast advert changes and when watching the news when it cuts to outside broadcasters. The pops and clicks are quite loud.
Reverting to my configured Preset 1, the pops and clicks do not occur. Turning the Dirac preset back on and the noises reoccur.
I have a Logitech Squeezebox Touch plugged into a Coax input and do not get these noises even on a change of sample/bit rate between tracks. It doesn't happen on the Analog inputs either. Both Coax and Analog are using the Dirac preset.
I sent an email to Emotiva support yesterday. The response seems to be a stock one:
"I am sorry that you are experiencing these pops/clicks. We are continually improving the firmware and I believe this will be resolved in the next firmware update. Thank you for your feed back and patients."

Yes, on mine, a known problem, playing DSD from Oppo 95, every change, HDMI handshake, or stopping play, get a loud pop. Hoping this is fixed in new FW soon. Thanks, God Bless, Wayne

I guess this shows that it isn't just an Oppo player issue with the XMC-1.
