Good day, I am a little frustrated. Am I correct in my understanding that I was to get an email from Emotiva with my Dirac Activation Key ? Do I need that key to download and use Dirac ? Because I have not gotten that email. |

Because I have not gotten that email. Check your trash e-mail. Give it a search, just may be there. If not, give Emo a call in the morning. You can't use Dirac without it. Yes, you do need the activation key to use Dirac and, yes, that key should have been emailed to you by Emotiva. Likely, you received the key before you had the XMC-1 in your possession. They're generated and sent rather quickly.
The do send it using a slightly different address, so check your "junk" or "spam" folder. If not there, call Emotiva tomorrow.

How long has it been since you received your unit? I got my Dirac key a week before I received mine...

Thanks for the replies : I never received an email with the key after ordering, before delivery or after delivery. I checked my trash and spam folders. I believe they dropped the ball. However, I called today, spoke to Grayson and he had the "dirac specialist" send an email with the key today. So, I will do some measurements Wednesday.
