Just saw Ant Man...great way to spend a hot, humid Sunday afternoon - in a very nice theater with recliners, big cup holders, a huge screen, great sound system, and a decent movie. The plot took a while to develop, but my wife and I really liked it. We laughed out loud several times...some very good comedy mixed in with the action.
YMMV...

I just came home from the movies after seeing this with my son. It is a very enjoyable movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, as some Marvel movies do.
The movie pays tribute to the original comicbook in many ways. Hank Pym was the original Ant-Man and a founding member of the Avengers. Shortly after, he also took on the ability to grow along with shrinking and became Ant-Man/Giant-Man. This reverse role was eluded to in the movie.
Even Marvel in the old days seemed to have a hard time placing Ant-Man. He went through many costume and name changes through the 60s and 70s.

And, as usual...stay until the very end!

And, as usual...stay until the very end! X2! There are 2 short previews. One before the rolling credits, one after!

I only saw the trailers and I thought it looked okay. But a little cheesy. But all the reviews seem like they really enjoyed it. I guess I'm going to have to see it.

I passed on this to see Inside Out which was probably the smarter choice but I'll more than likely check this out at some point.
