UPDATE (8/20/2015)
The Windows 10 DRIVERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE.
They have been tested and we haven't seen or heard of any problems.
(Note that you will have to disable driver signature enforcement in Windows 10 -
this is required in order to install many current drivers, and the procedure to do so is covered in the Install Instructions.)
UPDATE (8/7/2015)
The most reliable way to install USB drivers for a particular device is to download and install drivers that you know are correct.
However, we are still waiting for our "official" drivers from C-Media so we can offer them for download.
(The C-Media CM6631a drivers are used for the XMC-1, the DC-1, and the XDA-2.)
IN THE MEAN TIME, if you connect your XMC-1 to your Windows 10 computer, it will fetch and install drivers automatically.
Since these drivers come from that magical place where Windows finds drivers on the Internet, your computer must be connected to the Internet for it to work.
These drivers will recognize your XMC-1 and appear to work correctly (you get up to 24/192 via the USB Stream input).
(If you connect your computer to the Internet after it's already connected to your XMC-1 and the drivers don't load, disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable to your XMC-1, and wait a minute or two.)
These drivers do not seem to associate themselves with the XDA-2 or the DC-1.
However, we have also had several reports of XDA-2's "working just fine" with Windows 10 (and the old drivers).
Therefore, it seems that, if you had the Windows 8.0/8.1 drivers installed on your computer before you upgraded to Windows 10, they may still work after the upgrade.
(Whether this works for you or not may depend on exactly how you did the upgrade.)
We will, of course, make the official drivers available for download as soon as we receive them and confirm that they work correctly.
(We expect the Windows 10 drivers to be available early next week.)
PREVIOUS POST ==>
The current USB drivers for the Streaming USB Input on the XMC-1, and the USB inputs on the DC-1 and XDA-2 (v1.11) DO NOT WORK with Windows 10.
We will be issuing new Windows 10 drivers for those devices shortly.
(We'll announce it here, and you'll find the new drivers on the Resource tabs of the individual product pages as they become available.)
