SA-250 Amp quote from Emotiva literature. Could you explain the meaning behind this: "Topology: fully discrete, highly optimized dual differential,........." ?
Is highly optimized dual differential the same as the amps that tout "Fully differential"?

Okay differential balanced. Dual differential means that it is not fully balanced in the way we think of fully balanced amps. Emotiva's code word for that is quad differential. Dual differential means only the inputs are balanced. Only the monoblocks (excluding XPA-100) are quad differential. Every thing else is regular.

Odd in that the amp that is/was supposed to be the start of a new Pro/audiophile line wouldn't have been made fully differential/balanced. It does sound wonderful when using XLR interconnects from the XSP-1. Very smooth and detailed.
