Installed just fine and is working good so far. I'll just add, I only have it installed on my iPad Mini(not my iPhone) and again, so far so good. Same here. iPad Mini with iOS 9.01

Not much has changed for me. I was on 3.0 when I first tried the app on my iPad. It's actually from work so I can't update the iOS whenever I want. I'm still on iOS 8.1.3 plus there are work-specific device profiles installed. Once I was able to get to the main screen of the app, the display was always blank and none of the sliders moved. No inputs were listed other than Tuner. At first, it turned out that I would always try the app when the XMC was already on so no buttons in the app would do anything.
Then I found this thread and did some reading and realized some of my stupidity (mostly due to not knowing how it's supposed to behave). I tried the app first with the XMC off and was able to switch the processor on. I saw "Rethink High End" briefly in the app display before it crashed. Could not get it to do anything else.
Next was updating to 3.1a and trying again. This time I was able to see the list of my inputs while the XMC was still off; as well as the list of 3 speaker presets. No other buttons worked except Power. However, when I hit Power the app would crash after the amps came on and "rethink high end" disappeared from the proc display. If the XMC was on already when I ran the app, the app would crash immediately after pressing Main.
Next came updating the app to 1.02. App behaviour remains the same.
My last resort was to try installing the app on the wife's personal iPad 2. I thought she was on iOS 9 already but it's 8.3 actually. It does not matter though; the app performs the same as on my iPad. I'm at a loss! What else haven't I thought of?
Thanks, Carl

I'm using the Android version (1.03) but I had to re-adjust the score as the volume control on both mobile phone (LG G3) and tablet (Google Nexus 7) doesn't work! Pressing the up-volume causes the volume to jump to max volume! That is very loud.... Please remove volume sliders and just have up / down buttons.

While my iPhone 6s+ works great with the current version (latest) remote app, my iPad crashes every time I open it and select one on or other of my xmc’s, it briefly shows the main screen then dies. iPad is an air 2 iOS is 9.2 128gb and 4G cellular. Likewise my older iPad 2 also crashes. iOS 9.1 but I'll upgrade to 9.2 and see what happens.

I wonder if multiple XMCs are causing the problem with iOs.

As soon as you press the zone 2 volume button the volume goes immediately to -1. Very dangerous. Would love to see this fixed! Andriod version 4.4.2

For me this issue prevents me in introducing this APP on the "family" tablet.

If anyone else has similar issues with volume, please post it. It's probably the only way this will get any serious attention. If anyone involved with app development would like more information, please let me know. I'd be happy to help.

Pity the iPad is no use...crashes all the time when you hit power on FWIW, our iPad Air and iPad Mini both work fine with the app. I'm not using Video Standby so the XMC must be switched on separately from the app so I don't use the power button in the app.

mine doesn't see the power is on...iphone 6s+ is fine Mine starts with the power button in blue if the XMC is on. I tried starting it from Video Standby mode and the power button is yellow and when I touch it it turns blue and the XMC turns on.

Very useful app, however while it perfectly works on my Samsung s4 mini cant say same about how it works on Nexus7 with Android6. First it looks slightly weird on widescreen tabled (probably app optimized for 4/3 ipad?), but major problem is it often lags, displays error message and closes. Here is screenshots drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1Q55deL45pednBldW5lby02YVE&usp=sharing"update request error" is usually displayed after I open app and selected "main" tab, however not all times. "unfortunately xmc remote was stopped" when I succesfully open app, selected "main", returned to andrioid desktop, then opened app again - very weird. Also it happens often when I'm trying to change speakers preset or audio mode, not each time but often. All this operations performed ok on phone with android 4.4.2. When I had Android5 on Nexus this app was unusable, every action resulted in error message, after andrioid6 it suddenly began work better, but still not perfect as you see issues described above

Well I am still screwed with this app on the iPad Air-2 now at V9.3.1 same as my iPhone 6S+ which works (albeit some of the buttons seem unresponsive for some thing) but the worst is that the iPad doesn't work at all. It allows me to see the 2 XMC-1s but as soon as I select the HOME icon crashes the app. deleted, reinstalled many times and no joy...same on an older iPad-2.
So yeah still not happy with this app...just another failed promise for the brand as I see it...sad I was really hoping the XMC-1 as it was hyped up to be initially has fallen well short of mark.
I love it but only as a mistress...not enough to marry to attempt an analogy that might be close.

I don't even know if it's possible but it would be cool if the Menu system were displayed on screen while doing things like setup etc. You can navigate the menu now but you have to view what your doing on the TV or XMC display. I edited Geebos post a bit to just this part, but yeah... this would be cool!
