I currently have a CD that will not eject from my ERC-1. All the other functions (play, skip, stop, powere on/off etc) seem to work from both the remote and when pressed on the machine itself. The CD currently stuck is store bought. Any ideas?
Thanks.

If you haven't already, try unplugging it for a bit. Hopefully that might reset the ERC-1 and allow you to eject the CD. Otherwise, giving Emotiva a call after the weekend and see what they suggest, will be your best bet.

Just for the heck of it try turning it off, hold the eject button down and powering it back up.

Thanks everyone - tried all the advice but nothing worked so will either contact Emotiva or look into trying someone local I know that repairs hifi gear since I'm a year out of warranty.

Certainly call Emotiva for help, even though the unit is out of warranty. For something truly radical, try turning the unit upside down and press the eject button. Don't blame me if that doesn't work! This trick worked for me in the past. I think you have little to lose. YMMV..

Funny that you say this, as I think I remember another member having done this and it worked!

Go figure. We'll see how long this lasts. Happy for now! Appreciate the advice.

Glad to hear it's resolved. Clearly moving it around loosens something with the mechanical gripper thingybob. Next time you may even have to pat it a few times, like burping a baby!

Though the loader was repaired under warranty a couple of years ago, I'll definitely be keeping this in mind.
