@klimemj, congrats. The LGs have the (modified) WebOS operating system which they bought from HP. I'm a fan of WebOS on my HP tablet. Shame Carly Fiorina messed up HP completely. HP ran WebOS into the ground but it is slick. Enjoy your new TV and we expect a full review in due course!  |

Watched a bit of Nightmare Before Christmas, and I have never seen it look so good. Quite pleased with the picture. My son wants to move this TV to the loft where he plays video games on our Sony. I don't think so... It took some reading to figure out how to use Miracast from our tablets, but now that we know how it is super easy. My router is a bit flaky, so my next purchase will be a new router. That should help a lot of network issues around the house. My wife often watches soccer games on her tablet around the house, and she is already looking forward to watching on this TV in front of the fire. To her chagrin, I might have to hook up a BluRay to this beast. Thanks to all for their suggestions as I looked for options. TV shopping sure is challenging these days! Ironically after all my on line shopping, I had not found this model. I went to town to look at the picture from my top leads, and stopped in BestBuy. They didn't have any models I wanted on display, but someone had searched TV's on a computer in the area...and the search page was on this model. It caught my eye...and the rest is history! Mark |
