Mark Seaton just announced he's releasing an F18 sub. The master has a 4kw amp and can run 3 other slaves. That's a total of 4 cabinets from one amp. Price for the master is apparently 2200 and each slave is 1100. First one is pretty high but he makes first rate subs. I spend 2k on one of these before I spent 2k on an Svs. Just another option.

Hello folks, My room is roughly 4000^3 +/- However I do tend to listen music somewhat loud occasionally while home alone LOL... 50/50 for use would be a fair assessment. PSA recommend the V1800i which is being considered also noted to steer away from sealed units with the exception of the S3600i. Given your room size, I would think the PB13 might be a bit weak for your room. I would consider bigger drivers, and ideally multiple drivers. My room is similar size, and the PSA S3600 was in my list of options to consider. I ultimately chose a Rhythmik F25 because I really didn't like the PSA's finish, and I preferred a servo sub. That led me to Rhythmik and my main choices were the FV15HP or the F25. The FV15hp technically has more output, but I have a strong preference for music and I was leary of a ported sub. So, I went with the F25, and I love it. With a mail order sub, I did not want to send it back, so I really sweated my choice, and I am happy with it. Mark
