I thought it would be fun as 2015 closes, we all dish what our favorite films of 2015 were. So I'll kick it off!
1. Star Wars The Force Awakens 2. Mad Max Fury Road 3. Ex Machina 4. It Follows 5. A Most Violent Year
***Of course I just got a copy of Sicario and will be seeing Hateful Eight xmas day so this list has the ability to change slightly.

I haven't seen 5 new movies this year.
1- American Sniper (i just saw it) 2- H@me 3- Peanuts Movie 4- Inside Out 5- Avengers: Age of Ultron
Actually- i think that these are the only new movies we saw this year. It is nearly $75 per trip to the theater for us. 4 Tickets, 1- Large Popcorn, 2- drinks.

Top 5 is too hard, mixing genres, how do I compare a movie like The Theory of Everything with Avengers Age of Ultron? I'll start with movies based on true stories; American Sniper The Theory of Everything Zero Dark Thirty (watching American Sniper reminded me that I hadn't seen this, it was hidden at the back of the shelf) The Woman in Gold The Imitation Game
Happy New Year Gary

If we are limiting to ones seen in a public theater, I would be down to Ant Man...the only one I saw in a cinema this year. As for ones I saw in the HT...I can't recall which were 2015 releases...I am bad with time, but Inception would be on the list.

Hair Nick I have 29 2015 DVD's that I have here but still have not watched. Let me get caught up. Have not seen Star Wars, Hateful Eight, It Follows and A Most Violent Year. Just got thru with Sicario and currently in the middle of watching Ex Machina. I sometimes spread movies out over days. There is a Movie named Cut Bank that may make my list. It has John Malkovich, Billy Bob Thornton and Bruce Dern. Have you seen it ?
