The remote control for my UMC-200 is completely non-responsive all of the sudden. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and/or if there is a known fix. Couldn't find much doing a Google search. There is fresh batteries in the remote and they are definitely in the right way. Any insight into this would be great.

Did you check the battery contacts for crud? Once in a while alkaline batteries do leak. Seems like the leakage always finds its way on to the contacts.

Thanks for the reply...I'm hoping its something simple like that....it looks immaculate in the compartment though, good thought.
