I'm amazed that there hasn't been a single write-up anywhere on how any of the new gear actually sounds. Not the speakers, not the amps, not the processors. Everything has been the same pre-CES info rehashed (the Spicoli wannabe from EnjoytheMusic was a fail that is beyond words). Didn't anybody actually turn the gear on? Pathetic.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=99uSc1gFEeoNot much new here, but still some information. At the end, Dan says information on the speakers can be found on emotiva.com, but I have yet to see anything.

I was in the CES Emo rooms twice and most of the equipment was set-up for static display. The emo guys were pretty busy with all the traffic going in and out so it wasn't like the Denver show or one of their own hosted events... Whatever demo's going on were not set up for optimal listening (small area with lots of furniture, people, speakers and electronics all stuffed in together).
I was told most of the new stuff will be available in about three months whatever that's worth...

Anything new about the release of the passive speakers? Would love to see some specs. I feel like a kid that can't wait for Christmas! lol. C'mon guys give it up!
In in all honesty I'm not sure how I stumbled across Emotiva. I really had no knowledge of direct sell audio/home theater companies. But I'm sure glad I did.

Yeah, where could we hear the new speakers, the new amps, the new etc. Where, oh where could we all get together, drink a beer, and listen to Emotiva audition their new products for us? What kind of a get together could this be?

Brian62, you have a right to be excited! I also own the XMC-1 and XPA-5. They drive my former Emotiva Reference series speakers, which have always been way under appreciated IMO. My 5.1 system sounds superb to me for both HT and multi/2 channel music. I also was shocked when I saw the intro price on the new Emo speakers. Looks like Big Dan and Lonnie and crew have done another amazingly great job of bringing us poor folks great sound at a best bang for the buck factory direct price. What amazes me is that about 5-6 years ago when I was first into Emotiva gear and mentioned and raved at the AVS forum (and several other forums) about my purchases of the Emo amp, speakers and CD player I was accused of being an Emo fan boy and not experienced enough to evaluate high end sound, even though I was into Altec Lansing, JBL, AR, Nakamichi, Marantz, TEAC, Dual, etc. before most of these experts were born. Things started to get turned around there finally and now Emotiva gets a lot of well deserved respect. There is not a better HT/Audio dealer anywhere (at least on this planet)! Do you know any on the new speakers? This might be a silly question. Would these speakers have a balanced input?

Just looking for all the info I can get about the new Emotiva passive speakers. I'm currently running the XMC-1 and the XPA-5. To say I'm thrilled with the performance would be an understatement. Restored my faith in made in America. Truly high end performance for a fair price. As well Emotiva's customer service is top notch. You can actually call and a real live person answers. Plus they speak English. Ok back to reason for this post. Just wanting to get information about the new passive speaker line! What is the planed release date on the new speakers?

Big boobs are gross IMO...
Anyway, I'm disappointed that all the new speakers are pretty big. There are no options for smaller space requirements. Bad choice on emotiva"s part and the current "lifestyle" trends.
