I too would prefer that we pay Emotiva for the shipping charges and they use their corporate account to save us a few bucks. I don't see how it would violate their UPS agreement. UPS'ing it from the UPS center (not the "UPS Store") is crazy expensive. The UPS Store is even worse. They will do that if you call and as. They have done it for me 3 times

I'm currently looking for a repair shop. I email Emotiva about working on my LPA-1, but I was told they don't work on these anymore due to not having parts for them. I've contacted a shop in LA George Meyers to see if they can work on it and repair it.
Kind of sucks, I've only enjoyed this amp for several months. I guess that's the risk you run when you buy a used item.

I must be really lucky because I've not had done Emotiva amp have issues or outright fail on me.
I did though have a nightmare with the UMC-1 swapping PCB revisions multiple times.
Despite the protection circuits in the amp and it's microcontroller I'm convinced a lot of these issues are caused by people messing with speaker level hookups without powering off the amplifiers and shorting it.
That and weird ass boutique speaker cables and bi-wiring BS.
