I'm going to try this with my coffeemaker. I'm sure that my coffee will taste so much better!

Eclypse, do yourself a favor and call Emotiva back. Ask for Cathy. Get it taken care of instead of putting it off and continuing your displeasure with them. I am still surprised someone from Emotiva staff has not jumped in to rectify this situation, it is obviously not a solitary case...

I've tried that and was told when she gets to work and that she would take care of me as in respond to my message to her threw ebay. I'm just waiting for them is all. I'd call again if I thought I could get threw to her. Thought at the moment at the doctors.. will call later if not heard back.

Just got a response back from jadedesign and my cables and manual are in the mail!
Now I can focus on listening and showing the new setup off!
Love that new found sound!
Xps-1 is never leaving!!
Mono blocks for life!
I must have a golden ear cause I hear a large differernce from xpa-2 to xpa-1Ls and a xps-1.
Using dc-1 as the dac.. regular cds from my oppo 103 is tasty as it is.. can't wait to get the pc serving high res music!

Why didn't you spend £20,000 on two IEC cables?

I shouldn't have to?
Besides I want good shielded power cords so I don't introduce noise into the system like any cheap reg cord would.

The power cords they will send you will be no different than any other generic cord out there of the same gauge.

The BUDGET Belden I listed are both shielded cable. You connect the shield at the Power Plug end and NOT at the equipment end. The shield / braid connect to the Green / Ground wire.
Cables don't have to be wacky / expensive.
Eclypse, who apparently has a good system going, MIGHT profit from a power cable upgrade. It would be interesting to hear any outcomes he has on that front.

The cords that have come with my Emo gear have been fine but they are no better than what Monoprice sells. In fact, the Monoprice 14 awg cord is thicker than the Emo cords which from what I recall are 16 or 18 awg. They all work fine and I've never had any problems with them, including noise.
