Oh that's ground shipping in a huge country for you. If I had it shipped overnight it would have been 5x as much!

It takes longer to get through ontario than it does to get across the 2 full provinces between Alberta and Ontario..
I wish those guys worked on weekends.. It would be there today..

Yeah. I think sometimes people forget just how huge Canada is! It takes 24 hours to drive from Ottawa to the west edge of Ontario. And that only gets you to central Canada. 36 hours to go the other way, to St. John's, Newfoundland, a trip I've done dozens of times.

Spouse paid for it..... can't really complain. Especially when the original budget was $500. That got raised to $1,500 at my pleading, and then this XMC-1 came along for a good deal, and I pushed the budget again.
