ZMR-1. Z is after X of course, and then also referring to the "last word" in processor - can't go past a z! (hey, that's what they did with the "ZFS" file system name

I still like the RMC-1 idea of Reference Media Controller.

Because amps are NOT processors. Think about it, logically, if the XMC-16 processor has 16 channels would the XMC-1 then have only one? Apples to apples my friends Well, we know it's not XMR-1, because there's no R's (for Reference) anymore. So whatever it's called it has to live (in systems) with the XPA Gen 3 range it would seem. So it's a leading "X" most likely, then the "M" would seem the second designator for processors (eg; XMC-1, UMC-200, UMC-1), which leaves the 3rd letter which again seems to commonly be a "C" (eg; same examples). So what are you suggesting Nick, XMC-1.1 or XMC-2.0 perhaps Or maybe XMC-1 Gen 3....nah, that won't work...can't have Gen 1 (or is it 2) sold side by side with Gen 3 Cheers Gary

EBM-16 aka the Emo Badass Monster-16 or since "BM" might give wrong ideas to some hyperactive minds , Why not this: BEM-16? Badass Emo Monster-16? It has got "spunk" and a certain je ne sais quoi about it... Don't you agree?

Leave the letters and numbers to other nondescript makes ;if sim audio can think outside the box emo can . Maybe the Alpha and Omega ; the 1st and last processor you will ever need - advertises itself Who thinks up why its necessary to have a plethora of letters & numbers to describe a component ; simple is best..

Emax line. EmaxA-1, etc. for amps. EmaxPAV-1, etc. for audio/video pre-pros, EmaxPP for phono preamp, EmaxP-1 for preamps, EmaxMC-1 for media controllers, EmaxDAC -1, etc for DACs. If Emax is already trademarked, add an a - Emaxa, or maybe Emensa.
