Just listened to the latest podcast..
Sounds like info will go live on the website within a week or so, but shipping is out for "later in the year"...
Time to look around.

I too just re-listened and I also heard later in the year but I think Dan was referring to the BaseX 7.1 processor, as at the end of the PodCast(24:57) he said BaseX was launching in a few weeks. |

That's how I took it as well. I'm hoping this is the case as I really want that A-100 for my headphones.  I know I sound like I'm repeating myself on this, but I've been looking for a suitable, affordable headphone amp that will easily drive my Sennheisers and since Dan said the A-100 would be more than enough power to drive planar magnetic headphones like your Oppo PM-2's, I know my HD600's will be a piece of cake to drive. |

So everything but processor will launch? That's the way I remember it. This is what I'm thinking as well, but a call to Emotiva sales would give you a definitive answer one way or the other. |

LCSeminole I too am looking forward to the mini-x. On one hand I think it is a really nice looking piece of gear and on the other man that thing's gotta be powerful for headphones!! Too bad they didn't include a set of balanced outs...but then again the amp isn't balanced so I can understand. I think the preamp tuner is really nice for somebody like me when I was just starting out. I was looking for a standalone DAC and the addition of bluetooth really makes it a selling point. I hope their DAC section is at least as good as their Egos. However it's a pity about the power amps. The "affordable" point has now downgraded their two channel power to 75 watts a channel @ $300. And the 150 watt which I assume is a UPA-200 of sorts has jumped to $500 from $300 a 40% increase. Oops I misspoke.
