Freeze this video @ 3:15. There is a USB port on the back of the Emersa EDA digital amp.
Anyone here know why you would have a USB port on an amplifier ?

frenchyfranky I have not seen any news on production start but we did not know they were already making the Airmotiv passives and almost done with there run until RoryB told us.

Is there or can there be a digital amp like the ICE modules that can do that ? I have never seen a DAC with USB output. Maybe an analog signal via USB into the ICE modules. Maybe it is for some type of update. Maybe a 5v power output.  |

IE; instructions , parameters So say you get a EDA-2 and you want to add more modules. You send it back or open it up yourself and add more modules into the chassis. There may be some common component that all the individual modules use and it needs a software update to activate the new modules ? |
