Sound quality is for me the most important thing in stereo and surround. Not specific features. But if we talk about features it would be nice that the RMC have some options like:

And six months or more till we can make a purchase! Haha. 2 months...6 months....9...weeks Friends don't let friends talk about release dates. Hope it will be quicker because i use all my dusty stereo sets right now. |

Yes, I admit it, we've been playing with you all a little bit. The RMC-1 photos that were leaked were not actually the unit. This was the test mule chassis. 😳 mmmmm... maybe, maybe not. Dan, could you tell me something about the height, width and depth of the RMC? My friends building an audio furniture atm. |

Well kids, We've got all of the systems for the RMC-1 up and running... which was a massive effort on our teams part. I'm incredibly proud of their work! So, we planned on having a working demo at CES, but sadly, ADI has not finished porting the Dolby or DTS codecs into the new hot rod Sharc processors we're running in the RMC.

think it will be something like this: Using a simple mobile app to calibrate, ADAU1462 can be used to implement Dirac HD tuning and room correction. This demo shows the improvements possible when using ADAU1462 even for small speakers.

My special request is that the setup, which I realize will necessarily be quite involved, is made logical, for lack of a better term. I don't mind spending a lot of time getting everything fine tuned, as long as it makes sense as it proceeds. I'm sure many here have been frustrated at translated instructions, for example, that leave one baffled at the meaning. I also hope that a quick phone call or email to Emotiva's tech support will be available. On a side note, I recently had an issue with one of my XPR-1 amps, and it was quickly solved with one phone call. I forgot the tech's name, but he knew exactly what to do. Fixed over the phone! So keep up the excellent work.

It's interesting how so many of these high-end audio solutions are coming out of the automotive application space. It's great, but I really don't understand why. The ambient noise level is so high while driving I wouldn't think one would need a ton of high fidelity ...
In any case, congratulations on nearly being done! I look forward to seeing your announcement!!
