Wow, there it is.
Any guesses on price or if this will be their base model with a top end model to come?
My money says the unit(s) will have greatly improved streaming apps.

Can't wait to see comparison to 103/105 models. Still using SABRE chips?

Based on my experience with Oppo,I think this is the way forward for me.I really appreciate the fact that it looks like they will be holding the line on pricing.

Keeping the $499 entry level price is smart, and what I had hoped for. Definitely will be waiting on the UDP-203.

The apps on disc players like this seem to always be an after-thought which is why I never buy these for this feature. FireTV/AppleTV/Roku apps always seem to be more robust and updated when needed.

Back panel of the UDP-203. I find the HDMI input interesting. It's also about time they have a trigger "In" and "Out" feature.

How come non of these players support Dolbyvision?

How come non of these players support Dolbyvision? Maybe it's because Oppo have been too busy lately inventing at least two of their own proprietary HDR formats. If we want our human species to survive till the end of the century, we will be needing at least twelve different HDR formats for people to be able to choose between (mathematically).

From what I've been reading on Dolby Vision, chipsets for players aren't available as of yet, and the earliest we can expect a Dolby Vision enabled UHD players would be summer of 2017. I don't think these sources are rock solid on this info, but it would explain the lack of Dolby Vision processing in existing and soon to be released Oppo and Sony UHD blu-ray players.
