I have been using Chromecast Audio (CA) connected via Toslink to my DC-1 and the bitrate display on the DC-1 correctly shows 44.1k when streaming my CD FLAC files. But recently I acquired some higher resolution FLAC files and the display on the DC-1 still only shows 44.1k.
Is anyone else streaming to their DC-1 from a CA high resolution files and getting a higher bitrate to display on the DC-1?

I'm pretty certain that the CA down/re-sample everything to 44.1k at the moment.

I stream my FLAC files to Chromecast using JRIVER and an Android control app. The files get to CA via local WIFI as this is the only way to get files to CA that I am aware of.
A number of CA reviews have stated that CA streams hi res music above 44.1k, yet I have not been able to find a definitive spec on this anywhere on Google's web site.
