Interesting bit of info, Lionsgate announced there are two spin offs in the works, a TV series called “The Continental” and a movie, “Ballerina”, not to mention a fifth John Wick movie.

4 Definitely had great pace. You could not even rest, the next big scene just kept coming. I really liked it. I want it on Blue Ray 4K UHD to add to my collection. More fun to go with a few people I think. I went with a friend, made it even more fun. Ballerina that has been in the works for about a year in Prague is coming too. Curious how that will be.

Chapter 4 is now available to stream... 6/13 UHD BR Disk Release. I'm on a work vacation through next Tuesday, and while I really want to stream this movie(not to mention my plans to see the movie at the IMAX fell through), I have quite a list of material I've queued up to watch(several of those on AppleTV+, binged "Silo" and can't wait to see the next episode Friday). I do have the John Wick 4 UHD-bluray on pre-order so I know I'll be getting the best viewing possible, thus I'll be passing on streaming for now. |

Netflix currently has the John Wick 1-3. They are the only franchise that I'm aware of that gets better every movie. Although the 4th movie is a different tone. I feel John Wick 3 is a better casual action movie, the 4th movie changes the narrative of the earlier movies. Looks like a 5th movie is a sure thing. I only hope they stop and close the story before they fail. They already broke all the sequel records, I just hope they hang up in time. As much as I enjoy them, I feel the time line is limited for great content.

I was a little late to the John Wick franchise, It wasn't till I saw how Keanu Reeves trained, that I was interested. He does all his own stunts, except getting hit by cars and falling from height's. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrawit53W7sIt's not just that the movies are good and entertaining. It's that a humble actor gives it everything to make it happen. Also, the action is fluid without cuts, because they practice for months before filming. |
