My theater here in my city kind of sucks, when i seen Force Awakens last year I was disappointed in the quality of the picture and sound, I own it on Blu-ray and much better at home, can't wait  Chad |

YES!!! Glad to hear!! I saw a very negative review on the Times. But then again, people weren't that thrilled with the Force Awakens but there I was with my teenage dreams coming true with a big grin on my face loving it!

Local review here says that it is one or the worst movies of the year because it takes itself too seriously.
I am going to try to see it this weekend.

Wife and I are headed down to Alabama on Sunday to see it at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center IMAX in 70mm!! Only 13 theaters in the US showing the full 70mm copy.

In a few weeks, we'll see it in one of the local Atmos/Dolby Vision theaters.
Critics seem to have very opposing reviews.

I saw a review on Fox News by Kevin McCarthy this morning and he said half the movie was good, half wasn't and the script was terrible.. His words not mine |

Oh bouy, I'm sensing deja vu here man.😉 Unlike every Star Wars movie since Empire, my wife and I are not only NOT seeing it the first day at the first showing, we aren't even seeing it this weekend. Our intrest is minimal. Perhaps during Christmas, but I doubt it. When I told her what this one was about, she replied with Dum Dum Dum, Dum Du Dum, Dum Du Dum. An attempt at being Star Wars geek humerous saying that the entire script idea was less than interesting at first glance. We will see this for sure, but unfortunately Awakens mediocre "everything" and overrated hype has soured our normal over exsuberanc over such a movie. I sincerely hope we are proven wrong, because we both really like Star Wars. |
