I saw the Walter Trout Blues Band a couple of weeks ago. Awesome performance - pounded it from start to finish. This is one of the songs he played.

Lincoln Mayorga - Limehouse Blues (interesting because instruments were played directly to turntable)

Thanks for posting that DavidR, I don't know how to do that yet. I hope everyone enjoys the quality of the recording. I discovered this years ago and it sounds especially good on great equipment.

Mike Bloomfield and his chicago blues style. He left us too soon.

Any Jeff Golub fans in here? I’m listening to “Blues For You”... great CD.

Also, “The Thee Kings”, his tribute to B.B., Albert, and Freddie.

Thanks for the memories David. Whenever I see the name Mike Bloomfield it takes me back to 1969. I was in Vietnam and a buddy of mine with a great stereo system he got while in Hong Kong on R&R had the Al Kooper/ Mike Bloomfield Super Session album. Wow, sitting back in his hooch (2 man-large officers room) with a few quite a few many beers was great therapy. Fabulous blues!

This is the BEST version, IMO, of 'Have you ever Loved a Woman'

I saw James and his band Saturday night at a local venue. They did this song. I was in the 3rd row and my ears are still ringing. I recorded it on my wife's iphone and will post once I can upload it to YT You ALWAYS get your money's worth when seeing these guys.
