I'm also going to throw my vote towards the XPA-1 for the 60watts purse class A power and 600Watts RMS class A/b. I also prefer the tried and true power supply especially for your setup. This amp really seems like a great deal for everything that it is. Hoping to get a pair for myself one of these days.

I would wait for the new g3! The bw802 are powerhungry...... Had some myself and bryston 4bsst with 3*300w was not nearly the power they needed. I think xpa-1 will be a good combo espesially compared to the price Boomzilla he would ned two hegel H30 that cost 7 grand a piece..... So 14000$ the other hegel amps are not good enough! I would love to hear xpa-1 with the 802. But get a hand on some used xpr1 would probably be awesome!!!!!!!! The 600 of the XPA-1 is only 3db more. Not really enough to make 'the big difference'. I'd suggest the Bryston, even though that have an unbeatable reputation for durability, simply did NOT like the combination of 3ohms and the reactance of the 802d. Don't forget the B&Ws are theoretically about 90db sensitive, which is pretty darn good.

On a side note why is making inaudible more inaudible NOT get u extra point? Means that if there is big thumping inaudible15hz in the signal we should ignore it?

In the old days, you had a rumble filter to rid your system of 15hz which would sometimes 'pump' the woofer. the TT was chiefly responsible for this, and dropping the tone arm on a record, the Kiss Of Death. OOOPS!
But there is inaudible and INAUDIBLE. The all caps is like what happened to me. I installed a power conditioner on a system that was FINE, in my OPINION. I couldn't hear noise, rumble, hiss or anything but the CD. When I installed the Power Conditioner? SOMETHING got substracted. Background was 'blacker' Space between the notes was vacant. Much better. Never DID figure out what 'was' wrong.

just like u can't hear 50khz. but "remove/filter" it and the sound is not the same anymore.
in any case, I am saying never say never and one man's tonic/potion is another man's poison haha
