Looking at them as Roon endpoint through their wireless speakers, or the Powernode, for multi room audio.

We have both a Node 2 and Pulse Mini, not using Roon however, rather the Bluesound app. I primarily use the Node 2 via coax out to a Marantz DAC to the two channel setup and my wife uses the Pulse Mini. I think they sound very good and really like the ability to program a handheld remote to pause/play, next track, previous track. The Pulse Mini is full sounding and has plenty of output for the rooms she uses it in. We store our tracks on a NAS. I'd recommend them from a sound quality/ease of use perspective, but don't have much experience using them in a multi room environment or with the Roon app.
