OK, I just sent off my hard earned plastic for Dirac Full. I got a confirmation order that they liked the plastic. My order seems to be pending. I cannot see where to download the file. Is it possible that their system is waiting to finalize the order until someone reviews my comments? I put the following comments in the order, because I almost ended up sending my CC info via an unsecured link; Your cart system has bad anomalies. When I logged in from the email sent after sign up, it left it in a non-secure site. It allowed me to purchase and get all the way to checkout, where I enter my CC info, not secured. I had to type emotiva.com/cart to get a secure page. I sure hope you do a better job of keeping my CC info safe now that you have it.

Once you buy the Dirac full you will have to wait for a breathing human being to set up the account and then provide you with a link where you will sign on with your email and create a password. If you bought this on friday or today then i think you will have to wait till monday at the very least.

Yeah, it is instant gratification. Having said that, unless you are retired, unemployed or in a non 9 to 5 job, you are probably going to buying stereo/HT stuff at night or the weekend. It seems like an opportunity for Emotiva to increase customer satisfaction to make it easy to handle customer support after hours.

Remember that Dirac is another company of its own with headquarters in Sweden, I don't know the process Emotiva has to go through to provide you with access to Dirac Full but I am not surprised it's not instant, one business day sounds very appropriate to me.

Are we going to be seeing another thread on Monday about how the installer needs some work? Or the GUI?
'Dirac "Full" doesn't sound a bunch better than Dirac!'

I like having the additional control that Dirac Full provides, as well as the ability to use a 3rd party calibrated microphone.

The question regarding cost must include "At what benefit?" A case could be made that sales might/would increase, having a net benefit.
<pontificate> I am one person out here making comments. I own 4 Emotiva Amps and 2 processors. I will continue to buy their products unless and until I find something better. A company like Emotiva, with its "brand loyalty" business model, has to, in order to ensure its survival, make sure I don't find anything better. </pontificate>

My main purpose in purchasing Dirac Full has to do with being able to define the bandwidth range of individual speakers.
For example I am using two subwoofers. One sub it has a "control range" of 10-70hz. The other sub it has a control range of 10-1000hz. My rear speakers are small, but the range it tries to correct for starts at 30hz.
Perhaps there is another setting within the XMC-1 I can use to control this, but it appears that Dirac has a control, that is disabled in the free version.

I don't think sales would increase anything of significance to outweigh the overhead, you just need to have a little patience. My new XMC-1 arrives in two days and I had to wait for it to be made to order before it was shipped.... now that is patience.

While I appreciate instant gratification as much as the next person, I hardly think that having to wait 1 business day is going to hurt any "brand loyalty" from their typical consumer. The delay is stated on the web page (and I believe based on prior threads it has to do with Dirac more than Emotiva) -- but perhaps it could be more boldly shown on the web page. I do agree that the cart needs to be fixed. No part of that should be unsecured.

I have 3 active systems, 2 have Pioneer receivers, one is all Emotiva, it is a much better sounding system.
