I think I will wait until the weekend is over, because from what I understood Axpona is coming up in the US. Maybe there are news about release dates etc or even new products shared.

Nothing wrong with carefully thinking this out. I myself am the total opposite of an impulse buyer.

IMHO opinion you should also ask yourself the question: "What is the alternative if not the XMC-1?"

Not saying there are no other viable pre-pros out there, but I think it is fair to say you will find it very hard to get one with comparable performance for the money.
