Moderator, Please direct this question to the correct place if im covering an old question.
ive just tried using the Emotiva app on my iPad for my XMC-1, it crashes over and over. Is this a user or known issue? Is there an update to the app?

Just tried my app on my iPad Mini and it works as usual. No crashes here. Maybe try deleting the app and reloading it?

I use mine on both an iPad and iPhone without issue. V 1.02.

Thanks, your using V 1.02 ? Yep, V 1.02 Back to working normal,  Don't have a clue what was wrong maybe just a hiccup that lasted 10 minutes. Thanks so much for your quick response. Very much appreciated. |

As an iOS app developer I am very interested in taking a crack at this.. Emotiva mods: Are there any developer docs on connecting to the XMC-1?

V1.03 Zone 2 volume not working correctly. Samsung Note 4 and now Google Pixel XL phone.
It allows you to change the volume up but not back down and defaults to one volume. Locks there. Restart app, same thing over again.

There is an app for the XMC-1? First I've heard of it. There is nothing on the Emotiva website regarding the download either.

I don't think that emotiva wrote it. I beleive that a former forum member wrote the app for all to use.

My app worked fine for over a year but just stopped yesterday. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, I’ve tried a hard reboot, still no joy.
Interesting that:
It still works on the cellphone, but not on either of two iPads I’ve loaded it onto.
It will work when the xmc is offf - e.g. it will run and I can turn the unit on. Once the unit is on however the app disappeares.
Looking for help - I love the app and use it every day.

I would not use that app. Without running it by technical support.
Who knows if it may impact underlying settings or firmware updates

Does anyone know i there is any plan to update the XMC REMOTE iOS app? I was using it with my RMC-1 and iPhone XS, and it worked pretty well (not perfect), but since I upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro it no longer works at all.

I have version 3.0 and it also looses connection often. If I refresh the main screen it eventually comes back. Is anyone else still using this app? What has been your experience?
