My speaker cables barely get warm after several hours, so burn in will take forever, man! I suggest we start a gofundme for " Chestnut Cables." Ready made theme song, and, 'No burn-in required,' because we . . . ___ them on an open ___. Of course, we also have to sell Jack Frost interconnects.

I have to say, all of these hokum articles coming out of PS Audio make me extremely leery of ever buying a product from them. Casey It's one mans' viewpoint...nothing else. The company is very successful and puts out quality pieces....however they are out of my league....$$$

Snake oil sells, but I have to wonder about someone letting someone else sell snake oil on their front lawn.

I have to say, all of these hokum articles coming out of PS Audio make me extremely leery of ever buying a product from them. It's one mans' viewpoint...nothing else. The company is very successful and puts out quality pieces....however they are out of my league....$$$ My only direct experience with PS Audio was that my friend Bill had the PS Audio Sprout and ended up hating it. When I gave him the two Hypex NC400 Monoblock Kits that we built together he said that it was a night and day difference and he enjoyed his stereo immensely more. Granted, that's an unfair comparison between an ~$500 50W/challel Integrated Amplifier and ~$1,500 200W/channel Monoblock Amplifiers, but he said that the Sprout always sounded very compressed. Also the Sprout's Input Impedance is 10KΩ and the NC400s have a 104KΩ Differential Mode Input Impedance and 1.5MΩ Common Mode Input Impedance. It's quite likely that Bill's Teac NT-503 DAC which he's running directly into these might have suffered from the Sprout's low Input Impedance. But, "wire burn in"? Nope. And as ÈlTwo pointed out, this is prominently on their web page ... Casey
