No, sorry, not sure as I never skinned my mini. Keep us posted either way, and yes, please post pics of your cabinet when you can.

Been having some issues with HDHomeRun pulling in channels without pixilation, stuttering, etc. I'm currently using one of these mounted to a window. amzn.to/2Az1YBCBased on Antenna Web, for local channels, they are only 12 - 14 miles away, so it should work fine, but curious what others are using. I'm considering to picking up one of these and placing it in my attic... thoughts? amzn.to/2noRq30

The advantage is you could turn it to get the best reception. I am now using one of those thin square flat antennas which is taped to the window and that does as good a job as the other one plus it is much smaller and less intrusive. But the drawback is you can't keep moving it to fine tune the reception.

Interesting that both provided the same signal quality. I'll play with antenna placement before making the purchase. Thanks!

I tried moving the smaller antenna to different locations in the room and zero, had nothing but issues, so I purchased the Clearstream antenna and bingo... all issues are gone. I spent the last hour or so installing it in my attic, ran new cable and so far so good. I'm very happy with the results. amzn.to/2noRq30

I got two of those SSD caddys, and then decided to go with my Norco 4224 case. Get a small fan for that card, I had a lot of issues with it over heating and being unstable without high air flow. I got a super small fan that fit perfectly over the heatsink.

I have a 40mm Noctua fan in my cart so I can place it over the heatsink as I read stories about the heat issue. How do you like the Norco case? I've been eying this Rosewill case. amzn.to/2BUPLsFHows your Windows server and storage spaces working out? You mentioned VMs, but is it more of a home lab or are you hosting HTPC / Media server guests?

Forgot to link the fan in the event you're interested - amzn.to/2DhG8k4Going to use this one to replace the one on the SSD cady - amzn.to/2zzdKYvYou can call me a Noctua fan boy... no pun intended, well, maybe.

The fan I got was the exact same size as the heat-sink, so the screw holes lined up perfectly.

I missed some of your other questions. The Norco case is ok, you definitely get what you pay for (and what you don't) - it holds 24 drives, and the fans keep the drives cool, that's about it I'm actually not doing any hyper-v stuff any more, so I'm tempted to just sell the whole kit.

No worries, if not Norco, what other rack mounted case would you recommend? I'm building a SFF unRAID server to backup my main unRAID server, but when we move I plan to centralize everything into a rack.
