Hi Keith,
I purchased XMC1 in May2017, so far happy with the purchase. I have 2 technical questions though
Q1: LPF resets to 12dB octave automatically in Preset1/Preset2/Dirac. (When I switch off and On, LPF resets to 12dB octave on all 3 P1/P2/Dirac)
Q2: whenever there is sudden dynamic shift in signal (i.e., explosion, earthquake, ..) I experience signal drop for 1 to 2 seconds, XMC1 dashboard flickers for same time, no image on TV, disorted sound and then plays normal. (the same continue again during dynamic shifts). I leveled my speakers (Preset1) for 75dB and the levels are (Left -5.5db, Center 0dB, Right -6.0db and subwoofer -1d
For e.g., I was watching "War of Worlds" at volume -20db in XMC1. Between movie playtime 25:12 to 27:52 whenever the Alien makes noise or explosion/earthquake happens I experience above stated issue.
I've windows PC connected over HDMI to XMC with XPA Gen3, to TV & speaker system.
Thanks

Is the movie playing from a disc, or are you streaming?

Is the movie playing from a disc, or are you streaming? Movie is digital copy (1080p, DTS-MA audio)

I'll be following this one (weird). Ironically, I just watched WOTW with the XMC (at a very spirited level) with no issues.
Amp. Issue perhaps

Check your speaker connections at both ends. Make sure there are no little strands of wire poking out and touching the chassis of your amp.
