Over the last few weeks my DC-1 has been not playing well with windows 10, first the EMO driver stopped working, installed the Schitt driver instead, that worked great for a while, it then started not loading every once in a while when my computer would reboot, switching usb ports solved that. Now using the Schitt driver I suddenly can't play anything other than 16/44.1 or 16/48, windows 10 creator built in driver does not work at all.
Anyone have any ideas? I have tried switching the usb mode to 1.1, still the same results, it is like windows just is not allowing me to play high res as if it is some DRM enforcement or something rather than being driver related.
Edit... When it started acting weird it was plugged into a USB 3.0 hub that it has been in for 6 months and started doing usb device not recognized and repeatedly doing a port reset, when I moved it to a port directly on the PC that stopped and it detects and stays connected, just crippled.
Update... I changed USB cable with a shorter one, same results. Tried a different computer and the computer didn't even detect the DC-1 being plugged in to get as far as trying to find a driver, even after reboot it still did not show in device manger, tried multiple ports on that pc.
Could it be a hardware problem in my DC-1?
