Just a quick update. I can now confirm that this setup is working as intended. All I have to do is say "Alexa turn on the amplifier" and it will turn the amps on and of as I want.
An interesting thing is that you can group other smart switches together. So when I wake up I can say "Alexa turn on the house" and it will turn on all my lights and the amplifier and my tv (I used the same smart plug or the tv). And when I go to bed it will turn off those items too.
Also of interest because I like the class A switch on the XPA-1 amps I can set it on a schedule to turn on the amps an hour before I get back from work so they are all warmed up and ready to go when I get home.
