BaseX TA-100, CD-100 and Airmotiv E-1 surround. picked up at Emofest. gonna pick up an XSP-1 gen (2/3?) when at the Axpona in April. They may or may not offer any discount available for those who come to the show but not matter what, that is my timeline for replacing the XSP-1 gen 1 I sold off a couple years ago.
I want a dedicated stereo system with mono blocks along with my surround sound but I will have to do it in stages. with that will be a pair of XPA-1"s gen 2 or XPA-DR-1's. but again in stages. I still have to replace my original XMC-1 with the new RMC-1 or the even newer XMC=1 (gen 3). since I know I will never ever do 16 channels in our living room without divorce papers being served, I may not need the RMC-1. so do I really need the RMC-1? I think the XMC-1 gen 3 should do the trick. sounds like I am rambling now.......

A BigEgo for my son in law (he kept borrowing mine) which was over a year ago. Quite frankly there is nothing in the current (as of today) range that I have much interest in buying. Plus the prices in Australia are quite outrageous making Emotiva not anywhere near the value proposition that it was when buying direct. For example, I never thought I would see the day where there were an ever growing number of processors from serious quality brand name competitors less costly than Emotiva. That also offered more features, that's useful features, not window dressing. Even buying direct isn't the price versus performance proposition that it once was either.
Cheers Gary

Basx a-100. What a fantastic buy. Got a used one just this weekend. Have yet to hook it up. Bought it to try with my Mass Drop 6XX's. My only complaint is, guess what, it's could use at least 1 more input, like, I think the old Sherbourn might have had. Having only one input is very limiting. Streaming or CD, but not both. Hence why I waited to buy one used and save 35%.
