Compass looks very much like our 1.5 year old grandpup Macy, another Goldendoodle. She brings lots of love (and energy!) into the family!

Wow - great work. Really. My Dad was a woodworker and before I was born he ran a cabinet business. I didn't develop all his skills, but I know them when I see them. Well done.

The tent is back up and all is ready ... ... then a little selfie with what is about the end of the woodworking ... spraying the doors! (Ooh, I should listen to “The End”)

Woodworking OUT OF THE BALLPARK, Audio. Made your own spray booth eh? Good work. and gave me an idea:
GoldenDoodle? Neighbor lady as some kind of mutt that looks like that. A real friendly wiggler. Great for the kids. When it gets out, maybe 3 or 4 times a year, it comes to ME, while the rest of 'em can't catch it.
I keep on threatening to get their dog a LAWYER. Poor thing obvious doesn't get enough attention! Just kidding.

Doors lacquered and back on, La Credenza will now be on hold until the end of ski season (though I’ll still make some design and cabling posts). I had hoped to have this in place and in use at this point, but as hard as I thought it was going to be it was harder, many things I’d never done, at times I really slowed down. So, in the spring I need to have the caster base welded, tear out the existing cabinets, have hardwood floor extended, clean up the wall / wiring (and add Atmos wiring), then install this thing! Put the doors back on today, the lacquer looks good.

Simply beautiful! I'd have a hard time leaving them until spring. But, on the other hand, I'm not a skier! Looking forward to resuming the story in the spring! Cheers! Chuck

I covered it up and finished cleaning up the shop today, I would rather have been loading gear into it. Maybe there’ll be an RMC-1 to put inside when spring rolls around!

I'd buy that. As much as I (mostly) enjoyed building this, if there had been something that met my needs, I might have bought it. Though this wood matches my speakers, and other cabinets more than something commercial would have. But thanks, I appreciate the vote of confidence!

Very nice. We love going to Park City. It's a great place and so easy to get to. Unfortunately I can't keep up with my son on the mountain anymore.

Sounds good. We usually get out there for the Martin Luther Jr holiday. We went in March this year also and enjoyed it not being as crowded as the holiday weekend. We have been talking about going a different time this season. It's getting hard to find a time that suits with the kid's school schedules.

So ski season is over, though the snow was slow in coming, I still got 105 days and about 1.7 million vertical feet, pretty good! Now I’m back on the project, I bought the metal for the caster base and had it cut to length, tomorrow my neighbor starts welding it together. La Credenza is getting close! Here are the caster base pieces layed out on the bottom of the cabinet. and here I am mid hike up Jupiter Peak at Park City (I don’t hike often, skiing is a gravity sport!) Attachment Deleted
