nickwin, sounds like you have a grip on SPC and such. I rather doubt this is a receptive audience to such information. they want to KNOW if it is 'good' or not or whatever way the current is now flowing.
I'm less clear about how to apply SPC control chart rules to something which is essentially go/nogo. At least with numeric data, you have a mean and SD to deal with to start constructing your chart.
I also don't know what Industry Expectations are for such equipment. 5% failure? 10% failure? Less? More?
Maybe I'll start a thread on Quality and YOU should contribute as you see fit.

If someone were to sell their XPR, FedEx nor UPS are options, correct? This would need to be a local sale or handled by a freight company?

I guess I was incorrect:
UPS has established specific weight and size limits for the packages that you send with all UPS services. The restrictions below only pertain to individual packages. There are no limits to the total weight of your shipment or the total number of packages in your shipment.
Packages can be up to 150 lbs Packages can be up to 165 inches in length and girth combined Packages can be up to 108 inches in length Packages that weigh more than 70 lbs require a special heavy-package label Packages with a large size-to-weight ratio require special pricing and dimensional weight calculations

UPS sucks with heavy boxes. They will just roll the box instead of using a handtruck.
Also, I agree that Teaman has been treated differently than others.

Off-topic posts deleted. Stay on topic here please.
Unless you have intimate knowledge of PM contents (which you don't), you cannot judge why others have been warned as they have.
To discuss politics, people can choose from several other forums.

When I had my xpr-2 it was excellent. Never had an issue other than it gave off as much heat as a pair of xpa1L’s in class a mode. Sound was wonderful, I actually kinda have sellers remorse on that one.

Why not delete all off topic posts from other threads to be fair? Wait a second, the mods are allowed to use THEIR discretion! Not ours. Many off topic posts are NOT offensive to anybody, why delete them?
Im as guilty as many of off topic but I do NOT carry on to the point of getting slapped. Ive typed many a post that would have gotten me “Time Out” for some time, but I either deleted it myself or asked a moderator to indulge me in a PM. That way, Ive gotten it off my chest without being beyond the rules.
Ive just had a deleted post, not surprised, I knew it may have been boarder line to start with. I stated a disclaimer but so what! Mod thought it should go, so its gone. Im NOT crying.
This post is not directed at any of my friends here, its a reminder that We are all GUESTS of our host. I for one am great full that its here and that all of you are too!
Just thought Id share, y’all know how shy I am. 🤣😁 LOL

Why not delete all off topic posts from other threads to be fair? When they get offensive, they are deleted. It seems at times, some people forget this is Emotiva's lounge and should be treated as such. We're all visitors here. Let's respect the rules of the host. Forum Rules... Linky here

The biggest issue I had with anything shipped on a pallet was not the weight. It was that I have a 300+ foot long lane, and they said they could only bring the pallet on a semi, and the driver would not come down my lane. So, I had to meet him at the road with my trailer and tractor, then use my trailer to get the load back to my house. This was my Rythmik sub, not an XPR. But...same kind of pallet.
On the XPR's, the only time I have heard them - I was really impressed. Smooth and strong.

Originally they were not shipped on pallets, but that changed pretty quickly. Mine were not on pallets originally (they were UPS or FedEx - can't recall, but arrived perfectly safe), but when Emotiva ships them back now as part of warranty service, they are using something akin to half-pallets as was mentioned, via a freight company. The one I got back last Christmas was strapped to one of those molded half-pallets, not the old-school wood-slatted ones.
I just dropped my 2nd XPR off with them yesterday, so in a couple of weeks, I'll be looking for a drone shipment, or at least an autonomous vehicle delivery.........
